Why Natural Hair?
Why is this website restricted to individual wearing their hair natural? Their are several sites regarding black hair care, naturally curly hair, extensions, etc. We wanted to create a site that was specific towards natural black women and men hair care. The lack of education about our hair has created a stigma concerning our hair for a long time. It’s time to for a change! It’s time for us to embrace our the unique, curly, kinky, and versatile hair. It’s time to remove the false beliefs that our hair is undesirable, nappy, unmanageable, and won’t grow. This belief must transform in order for more Ebony women to love and appreciate their god given beauty.
We have to understand more about our hair so that we can embrace it’s beauty. We will need to continue to see our natural texture being rocked and appreciated by black women in and out of the media.
My Natural Black Hair is centered on approval of our own hair type and unfocused on what some may believe are “drawbacks” of our hair.
Natural hair within Ebony women of all ages has been an expanding movement over the past several years and now there is a great amount of support! This site was created to be a community for Ebony women to embrace their kinky naturally curly tresses.
We’re here to help encourage, educate and help you learn to love the hair you were born with. Rock your kinky, coily, or curly hair and be proud!
