I love the results from my first Henna! I’ve been reading other reviews on Henna experiences, and it appears the results are supposed to only get better over time. If this is the result from the first, I’m really looking forward to future henna treatment results.
Henna is known for helping natural black hair to become shinier, healthier and stronger. Henna, leaves a penetrable coat on the hair, which therefore allows moisture to be able to continue to enter. The henna aids in filling in rough patches along the cuticle. The molecule that adds the color to your hair absorbs into the shaft and connects with the keratin helping to make your hair stronger. This is also one of the reasons henna cannot easily be removed.
Henna also coats the hair and fills in rough patches on damaged cuticle. This gives your hair another layer of strength, and again, NOT locking out moisture. For those who are looking to loosen their curls, henna is also know for helping to achieve this. The results are not guaranteed or even the same for everyone, but it might be worth the try!
I can say, when I washed the Henna out of my hair, my hair did not feel as mushy, overly soft and fragile as it had before. I also noticed there was a slight tint of brownish red tone to my hair. This was expected, because henna original purpose is for dying. Anyway, the color worked out good for me because it’s close to my eye color. Sweet! Now, It has been said you really can’t determine the exact color your hair will turn out after Henna. For some this may be a drawback, for me, I’m not bothered by this at all. The positive benefits far outweighs the “drawbacks”. If you would like to read more details about Henna including the Pro and Cons of Henna read here.

Ok, I difenetily support people who wear their hair natural. I tried to wear it natural but I have a lot of hair and the only way I could wear it and have it look nice is if I cut it (my beautician told me this) but I love my hair so I could never do it. Plus, it’s a lot of work since my hair is really thick and it’s long… My mom wears her hair natural and it’s beautiful and looks amazing on her. But I hate when people say to wear it any other way but natural… Read more »
